Watching your channel brings back happy memories of debugging an Apple 2e clone DIY kit with a friend with nothing but a schematic, analog voltmeter, and a 0.1uF capacitor. We'd put the capacitor in series with the voltmeter in AC mode, to check if clock signal was on data/address/clock lines, and we didn't need an oscilloscope!
