Just wanted to say I love your videos and they've served as real inspiration for me to learn more about restoring old electronics. Didn't get the chance to say hi at VCF Midwest, but keep up the great work!

Just wanted to thank you for all the videos! I am a Commodore fan that grew up on the C64. Your videos covering Commodore systems have been extremely helpful in my recent hobby of restoring these incredible systems!

My wife thinks that we are doppelgangers, lol I have been in electronics and Home Computers. Started with Radio Shack Model 1 with the expansion unit. Then worked with Apple II. My first purchased computer was a VIC20 and on and on… Love your content and watch almost nothing but You Tube vids.

Hi Adrian, I saw your video on the Sup R Terminal 80 column card that I designed and patented the VBC video control to keep people from copying it for a bit. I still have a working 80 column card in the attic, along with the wirewrap prototype that I showed to Jobs and Woz, who both sanctioned it and helped sales by including our Ad in every one of their computers sold. I have the original schematic around if you want to see it. I am now getting ready to release a Android Cell Signal Nav App.

Hi and Good Day to you Mr. Black. Really enjoying your channels on YouTube a lot! I'm a TRS-80 fan and collector and its very nice and fun to see you tinker and comment on all those board mods!!! (I'm still smiling). Life is good isn't it? Take care of that shoulder so we can see more heavy TRS-80 and Coco stuff hit the bench. Keep up the good work and I promise not to send foam peanuts or disintegrating foam particles in any packages! Ha! Peace from ABC Heating & Cooling.

I really like your videos. You have a passion for retro computers and older hardware. Neat to find out how things work. P.S. I also read a rumor somewhere that Adrian's Digital Basement appears to be based in Oregon.

Adrian, I was just watching "Retrobrighting worked well … until it didn't (Atari ST 520)" — first off, loved the video and content. I was LOLing though because I was so excited to see the monitor stand under the SM1224 monitor — I had EXACTLY the same one back in the day (and possibly still in my garage). I think I got it at Radio Shack. Anyway, more Atari content please 😉

Greetings from right around the corner in Portland, Oregon. I have been a fan for any years – since you posted a tear down of an LED bulb from a dollar store – so it's high time I stopped by to say hello. Also, massive thanks for all the informative and entertaining content! While there are a lot of fantastic retro computer Youtube channels, I learn more from and look forward to your videos most of all.

Love the videos, especially Commodore repairs. I've learned so much about what makes a computer run, when I had absolutely no clue about the electronic side of things. Very interesting and makes me want to learn more.

Mach weiter so! (Jay Miner hat auch noch andere schöne Computer mitentwickelt). Gruß aus Deutschland, Frank — Translated to English — It's always fun to watch the videos. Especially when he deals with Amigas, I get joy. The "self-healing Amigas" show that even a professional can be speechless – and that he shows these videos demands respect. Keep up the good work! (Jay Miner has also co-developed other beautiful computers). Greetings from Germany, Frank

Adrian! Totally love the content. I got a CoCo in 6th Grade. I was a fan of the Danny Dunn series back then and had just finished reading Danny Dunn and The Homework Machine. I read the entire CoCo BASIC manual in one day and launched my career. It's great to see these old beasts working. Anyway, in one of your videos you mention the "6502 ROR bug." Just thought you should know, this isn't a bug. It's a missing instruction! (per Tubetime).

Greetings! I saw a recommendation for your first C64 Left for Dead video and was intrigued. A few more of the Apple ][ Plus, I came across the leaky battery Amiga 2000 video. I pulled mine out of storage after 25 years and found mine had suffered the same fate. Also found were nine boxes of Commodore stuff I didn't think I still had. Thanks to your enthusiasm and love of 8-bit things I am going to enjoy going forward into the past repairing my Commodore stuff! Thank you for a great channel!

your videos are great I have learned a lot and fixed several items with the knowledge gained from your videos; however, I have a laser 128 that has 12 keys that will not work, it's a work in progress wish I lived next door I bet you would have it fixed in no time
